Qrafter
Price: Free (You can upgrade within app to a version that lets you create QR codes within app)
How I used it: There are many QR Code readers out there but this app was the one that seemed to do the job that I wanted. If you are unfamiliar with QR Codes check out Common Crafts video.
First graders are limited when it comes to multiple step directions. One way to help with the pant pullers is to create a video with that outlines the steps, throw it online, and create a QR Code for it. All students have to do if they forget directions is open up the Qrafter app, scan the QR code and they are instantly taken to the video to go through the directions again.
While the QR codes served as a quick method for students to access directions it also provided many other options. Check out Richard Byrne's Blog for more ideas.
