Dropbox
Price: Free
How I used it: While there are many options out there such as Google Drive, Box, Sky Drive, etc, I found Dropbox to be the best suited for the tasks that we had planned. Dropbox was integrated into a lot of the apps that we used in our classroom.
I created one account for all my students to use. In addition, I had my own personal account. Within my personal account, I created a shared folder with my student account. This allowed docs, pics, etc to quickly be shared between students/teacher and/or teacher/student.
For example, when using the Educreations app, I was able to quickly load a file/picture into the shared Dropbox folder. I could do this on my own iPad or computer. When students went to use the Educreations app, the file/picture was automatically synced into the shared folder in the student account.
Dropbox served as a great tool to get data to and from the iPads.
